Waking Up Dead

Tomorrow I will awaken to a new world

Where there are no tears or no hurt

No longer will I feel the weight on me

I will not even feel the weight of the dirt

All of my troubles will be behind me then

I will not worry about anything anymore

I will end up where everyone else goes

Does not matter if you be rich or be poor

This world feels like needles in the skin

Not another tear will I ever have shed

I will be forever lost in sweet serenity

In the morning, when I wake up dead
