Cage Of Hate

Blood on the mirror, blood on her face

Drips down onto her dress made of lace

She wants to get away but cannot escape

She is trapped inside a cage of hate

Pearl necklace earrings and fur coat

Hides her bruises; no one takes note

The smile she wears is only a disguise

It hides away the tears hidden in her eyes

Nobody believes her riding in a limousine

No way they say he could be that mean

They cannot see behind the golden walls

The blood and tears that from her do fall

She cannot get away now; it is too late

She is ensnared forever in a cage of hate
